CA. Atul Kumar Goel, a qualified Chartered Accountant, brings over three decades of experience across four government-owned banks with strong expertise in corporate banking, treasury and risk management, financial planning, business transformation, and governance. He currently serves as the Chief Executive of the Indian Banks’ Association. Earlier, he led Punjab National Bank and UCO Bank as MD & CEO, playing a key role in restoring profitability. He has also served as Chairman of the Indian Banks’ Association. His career includes board experience with The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. and leadership roles at the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), where he was a Governing Council member and Chairman of the Executive Committee. He has also chaired key IBA committees on Accounting Standards & Taxation, and Retail Banking.
