Ms. Pooja Mahajan is the Managing Partner of Chandiok & Mahajan, Advocates & Solicitors. Ms. Pooja Mahajan leads the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency practice group which includes advising clients on restructuring, both within and outside the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016. She represents both creditors and debtors in insolvency proceedings and routinely advises resolution professionals and liquidators of several companies. Ms. Pooja Mahajan also actively advices on investment in distressed assets. She regularly appears and argues before Indian bankruptcy tribunals such as the NCLT and NCLAT as well as the Supreme Court of India in various insolvency and liquidation proceedings. Ms.Pooja is an active member of INSOL and International Bar Association and a part of IWIRC (International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation) Asia leadership group. Ms. Pooja Mahajan is actively involved in IBBI’s efforts for skill-building insolvency professionals and has taken multiple lectures and seminars for law students and insolvency professionals organised by Universities, IBBI and the Insolvency Professional Agencies.
