Mr. Pratik Parekh is a Director at Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited (Kotak Alts), where he helps manage a USD 2.5 billion capital pool focused on private credit, buyouts, and special situation strategies. With over 16 years of cross-functional experience in investing, private credit, distressed funding, turnarounds, buyouts, M&A, strategy, resolution, forensics, and banking, he has led investments exceeding USD 675 million and served on the boards of several investee companies. Previously, Mr. Parekh played a pivotal role in Kotak Mahindra Bank’s Asset Reconstruction Business, leading investment, restructuring, and resolution mandates across diverse sectors. He also contributed significantly to Kotak’s Group Strategy team, where he supported landmark transactions such as the Kotak–ING merger and strategic investments in Airtel Payments Bank and MCX.  Academically, Mr. Parekh  is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst (Level 2), Company Secretary, and CISA-certified professional, with M.Com from the University of Mumbai.
